I'm extremely happy with the whole experience and the amazing results
Breast reconstruction is a procedure used to restore the shape, size, and appearance of the breast after mastectomy. Several surgical techniques are available to restore the breast and help you achieve a more natural appearance. During your consultation with Dr. Howard Holderness, we will determine which of our surgical procedures and techniques are best suited to your personal needs and desires. Based on your needs, breast reconstruction can be performed on only one breast or on both breasts. If only one breast is affected and is then reconstructed, our plastic surgeon may recommend a breast lift, breast augmentation, or breast reduction for the opposite breast to improve the symmetry of position and size of both breasts. Regardless of your specific needs, our team is dedicated to helping you achieve aesthetic results that help you feel more confident in your appearance.
While breast reconstruction can help to restore the appearance, shape, and size of your breast, the reconstructed breast will not have the same feel or sensation as the breast it replaces. In addition, visible incision lines will be present on the breast from either reconstruction or mastectomy. You may also have visible incision lines at the donor site, such as the back, buttocks, or abdomen. In many cases, your insurance will cover breast reconstruction procedures; please feel free to contact our office for more information about insurance.
